Dear Friends in Jesus,
 
May the abundant blessings of our Lord be with  you!  Welcome to the web site of Christ Lutheran Church in Reese, Michigan.  In these pages you will find information concerning our congregation and its ministries.  I am blessed to be called as pastor of this congregation and, as pastor, I have been graciously asked to offer this introduction.  Allow me to give a brief sketch of who and what we are at Christ Lutheran Church.
 
First of all, we are people called by the Holy Spirit to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ in word and deed.  Our wellspring for all we are and all we do is the Cross of our salvation.  Beneath the shadow of the cross the Light of the World shines ever so brightly.  In other words, what we offer here is Jesus crucified for our sins.  As Lutheran Christians we cling to the belief the we are solely "Justified by Grace through Faith in Jesus."  We are not perfect...but Jesus is...and only through Him  may we stand before the Father.  Without this conviction, all of the ministries that flow from here would have feet of clay.
 
Having said that, by God's grace, at Christ Lutheran Church you will find a variety of worship opportunities, several musical programs, a terrific youth ministry, social outreach into the community and beyond, and educational opportunities for all ages.  Information concerning these ministries is available on this site.
 
If you are new to, or visiting "The Thumb" area of Michigan, it is with joy that I invite you to be part of our community of faith be it for a short visit or if you are looking for a church to call home.  Please know that I am at your service and I pray that your walk with God be filled with the wonder of our Savior.

Worship Opportunities

SUNDAY: 8:00 and 10:30 a.m.
Worship includes singing hymns,
proclaiming the Word of God,
children’s time and receiving the
sacrament of Holy Communion. Our worship is enhanced by children, youth and adult vocal choirs along with youth and adult handbell choirs. Special worship times are provided during special seasons of the year.
